1. Content Sources

Wallpapers displayed in the Gallerie app come from the following sources:

  • Gallerie Originals: Content created or edited by our internal team using public domain, copyright-free assets, or original artwork. This may involve cropping, resizing, compositing, and AI-assisted enhancement.
  • User-Submitted Content: Content uploaded by users who affirm they have the necessary rights to publish and distribute the material. We do not claim ownership but may host, display, and curate this content within the app.
  • AI-Generated Content: Content uploaded and/or created by users using AI features, potentially using third-party models. See our Terms of Service for more.
  • Licensed Content: Content we have acquired the rights to use from external individuals or organizations through legal agreements.

We strive to clearly indicate the source or origin of all publicly displayed content where possible.

2. Platform Neutrality and User Responsibility

Gallerie operates as a neutral hosting platform. We do not actively monitor or pre-screen all submitted content for following our platform policies and cannot guarantee the accuracy or legality of material published by users.

By uploading content, users agree that:

  • They own or have the legal right to share the content;
  • The content does not infringe upon the rights of any third party;
  • They assume full responsibility for any legal consequences resulting from their submissions.

We reserve the right to remove or disable content at our discretion if it is found or reported to be in violation of this policy or any applicable law.

3. Content Usage Guidelines

Unless otherwise noted, wallpapers available through Gallerie are for personal, non-commercial use only. Downloading a wallpaper does not grant you any commercial license or transfer of intellectual property.

You agree not to:

  • Sell, resell, or commercially redistribute any content from the app;
  • Remove attribution or copyright markings where present;
  • Share, modify, or publish user-submitted or AI-generated images for commercial purposes without explicit permission from the content owner.

For content you upload, you retain ownership but grant Gallerie a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable, and transferable license to:

  • Host, distribute, display, and promote the content within the app;
  • Modify, adapt, transform, and create derivative works from the content, including but not limited to AI-enhanced upscaling, filtering, cropping, and optimization;
  • Monetize the content and any derivative works through advertising, premium subscriptions, in-app purchases, or other commercial means;
  • Sublicense these rights to third-party service providers (including AI processing partners) as necessary to operate the app.

By submitting content, you acknowledge and agree that AI-enhanced or upscaled versions of your submission may be made available exclusively to premium subscribers or through other monetized access methods.

4. Copyright Infringement & DMCA Process

We respect the intellectual property rights of creators and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that any content hosted in our app infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to our DMCA agent by following the instructions in our Complaints Guide.

We will review all complaints promptly and take appropriate action, which may include content removal or disabling access.

5. Copyright Protection and Cooperation

We are committed to protecting the rights of creators and rights holders. If you are unsure about the source of a wallpaper or need help identifying original ownership, feel free to contact us. We will provide assistance to the best of our ability in verifying usage rights and attribution.

We reserve the right to amend this policy and take enforcement actions consistent with applicable laws and platform safety.
